Till Tuesday new film ‘shootout at wadala’ approximately collected Rs.33 crore. It was much awaited film and people gave good response. While other side small budget collection film “Bombay Talkies”, which came out on the similar day and got rave reviews, has got about Rs.6 crore. “Bombay Talkies” was came on floor in about 480 screens in India, while big budget film “Shootout At Wadala” hit about 1700 screens in India.
Both films were released 3 May. It was a day when Indian Cinema completed 100 years. According to distributor; both the movies have done normal business while ‘Bombay Talkies’ has just about collected around Rs.5 crore till Monday, ‘Shootout At Wadala’ has earned around Rs.33 crore till Monday in India.
Distributor Sanjay Ghai said in delhi: “In Delhi, ‘Shootout at wadala’ got around Rs.6.5 crore till Tuesday. It was released in around fifty to sixty screens in Delhi. Film ‘Shootout at Wadala’ is doing good business. This film did a good business in first five days and still people giving good response. ‘Bombay Talkies’ was a little unsatisfactory; it’s not up to the spot.
The movie has got around Rs.5.5 crore till Tuesday. Now let’s see ‘shootout at wadala’’ do good business in second week or not.
